大家好,請問一下:
「be動詞」的英文,有的寫verb "be" ,也有寫verb "to be"
前者沒問題;後者為何要多一個to? 有什麼特別的意思嗎?
找到這個討論
http://forum.wordreference.com/threads/verb-be-or-verb-to-be.1986484/
裡頭比較關鍵的內容是:
'To' is not part of the verb, but in traditional grammar was wrongly analysed
as belonging to it. The word 'to' is a marker of an infinitive clause; it
belongs with the clause, not with the verb. So "the verb 'be'" is much more
accurate than the traditional "the verb 'to be'".
看完還是不太懂,說to屬於不定詞子句/片語(查了詞典,infinitive clause也可以叫做
infinitive phrase),不屬於該動詞。但「to屬於不定詞子句/片語」,跟be動詞
的關係是?
請教一下,謝謝。
