練習翻譯I Have a Dream這首歌 有點疑問想不通，想請教各位大大
有一句歌詞我跟網路上的翻譯有出入 想請問一下。是這樣子的：
有句歌詞是 And my destination makes it worth the while
Pushing through the darkness still another mile
我翻成"而我的將抵達的目的地使穿過漫長黑暗顯得值得"
可是網友翻成 "我的目的使這一切都沒有白費
將黑暗拒於幾哩外 "
網友是將 "And my destination makes it worth the while"
和"Pushing through the darkness still another mile"視為分開的句子
可是Pushing through the darkness still another mile"如果是單獨一句就沒有主動
詞啦 且英文句子中worth the while 後面接動詞加上ing不是慣用法?
還有"Pushing through"是一個片語 查過字典 是指"穿越"的意思
"the darkness still another mile" 的still another查過字典是等於even more的意思
也就是"更多"
所以總和上述 我才將此句翻成我的目的地使穿越更多里程的黑暗顯得值得
再修飾成"而我的將抵達的目的地使穿過漫長黑暗顯得值得"
不知道各位大大有何看法？
