MOSCOW, March 5 (A.A.P.).—
According to Shanghai Press re-ports quoted by the Tass (Rus-
sian) news agency,
a wide upris-ing began in the northern part of
Formosa (a former Japanese-held
island off the China coast)
last Friday, and spread southward.
