(1) 七窟內500結集沒有結集大乘經典的原因
問: 第一次七葉窟結集,為何沒有結集大乘經典?原因為何?是否第一次結集只有部分阿含
,因為某些學者這樣說
答:
由結集的過程來看,當初所謂的五百結集,是由聲聞僧迦葉所帶領,因為當初結集的聲聞
僧基於兩個理由,並沒有完整把二、三轉法輪經典結集,才導致人數更多、規模更大的窟
外結集;這兩個理由第一個是智慧狹劣,缺乏念心所,不能理解大乘法義的情況下,使的
在場結集的聲聞眾僅記下了大乘法名相,而沒有大乘法實義的結集,但實際上當初在第一
個五百結集時,四阿含就已經完整結集,如長阿含部般泥洹經卷下提到從阿難得四阿含,
包括中阿含、長阿含、雜阿含、增一阿含,而且四阿含文,各六十疋素,另外在摩訶僧祇
律、毘尼母經也都有提到,可見當時的結集還有文字記載;那五百結集沒有結集大乘法的
第二個理由是很多聲聞眾在深心裏有大我慢,不信佛陀的證境與阿羅漢不同,所以有法華
退席的事件,這也是第一次五百結集時沒有完整結集出大乘法義的另一個原因
頌曰:
五百結集由迦葉, 二三法輪經未集。 智慧狹劣聲聞眾, 由如今人某某誤。
四阿含文已全, 中、長、雜、增一。 摩訶、毘尼也有述, 文字留存經文義。
聲聞眾有大我慢, 不信佛證境不同。 法華五千退席眾, 大乘法義未全結。
Question: Why wasn't the Mahayana scriptures included in the first compilation
of the Seven Treasures? What were the reasons behind it? Did the first compil
ation only include some of the Agamas, as Master someone said?
Answer:
From the process of compilation, the so-called Five Hundred Compilation was le
d by the Sravaka monk Kasyapa. However, due to two reasons, the two and three
turnings of the Dharma Wheel were not completely included, which led to a larg
er gathering outside the cave. The first reason was due to the limited wisdom
and lack of mindfulness of the Sravakas, who couldn't understand the Mahayana
teachings, resulting in only the names of the Mahayana teachings being recorde
d without their meaning. In fact, during the first Five Hundred Compilation, t
he complete collection of the Four Agamas had already been compiled, including
the Digha Nikaya, Majjhima Nikaya, Samyutta Nikaya, and Anguttara Nikaya. Eac
h of the Four Agamas had sixty volumes, as mentioned in the Mahasamghika Vinay
a and Vinaya-mulaka Abhidharma. This indicates that there were written records
of the compilation at that time.
The second reason why the Mahayana teachings
were not included in the Five Hundred Compilation was that many Sravakas had
the pride of ego and did not believe that the Buddha's realization was differe
nt from that of an Arhat. Therefore, there were incidents of the Lotus Sutra b
eing abandoned, which was another reason why the Mahayana teachings were not f
ully compiled in the first Five Hundred Compilation.

Kasyapa led the Five Hundred Compilation, The Two and Three Turnings were not
included. The Sravakas' wisdom was limited, As Master someone wrongly said.
