Report: Mavs intend to pursue Khris Middleton, Kemba Walker in free agency

The Dallas Mavericks are reportedly planning to pursue Khris Middleton and
Kemba Walker in free agency this summer, according to Marc Stein of the New
York Times.
據《New York Times》Marc Stein報導，達拉斯獨行俠計畫在今年夏天，
從自由球員市場中爭奪公鹿Khris Middleton & 黃蜂Kemba Walker。
The Mavs will have cap space this offseason to sign a max contract player.
Both Middleton and Walker will become unrestricted free agents on July 1.

But league sources say that the Mavericks intend to fling themselves into the
chase for Khris Middleton and/or Kemba Walker with gusto in hopes that they
have a shot at one of them. Wings with two-way ability figure to be another
emphasis if Dallas is unsuccessful in pursuit of the big names.

Walker has spent his entire career with the Charlotte Hornets. The All-Star
guard averaged 25.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in 2018-19
while shooting 43.4 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from beyond the arc
and 84.4 percent from the free-throw line.
Walker目前整個職業生涯都在黃蜂度過，

Middleton, meanwhile, has found a home with the Milwaukee Bucks after
starting his career with the Detroit Pistons. The swingman put up 18.3
points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists this season. He is widely expected to
re-sign with the Bucks, but it can’t hurt for the Mavs to try and pry him
away from Milwaukee.
