個人覺得,藉由「中文」來帶出情境沒什麼不好,如果想利用多閱讀
多使用的方法,希望能慢慢正確理解 subtle difference,實在是比
較慢,不如利用中文將腦子裡相關的記憶區激發,快速長出記憶突觸
下面的例句都是字典裡來的,您參考看看~
: 1.bear = 廣義用來指容忍的單字
bear 背負
It's your decision - you have to bear the responsibility if things go wrong.

: 2.stand = 這個容忍包含"主動面對"的意味
stand 承受住

: 3.abide = 這個容忍強調因"不喜歡或討厭"而無法容忍的意味
abide 接受

太過武斷,然而,做為一個 English as second language foreigner,我只
希望知道各單字的「獨特」之處,也就是說,我希望將 overlap 的部份砍了
來記,舉例來說,當希望表達「撐過」這個概念時,你用 tolerate 就怪怪的
