Project Manager, Block River Technologies
Taipei Taiwan, Remote/Hybrid, Open to Full-time/Part-time and Contractors
Block River Technologies is a leading provider of cutting-edge solutions in
DLT research, FinTech, and Algorithmic Trading. We're revolutionizing the
financial industry through innovative technologies and data-driven insights.
In this dynamic environment, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to
join our team. As a significant contributor, you will play a key role in our
web3 platform, delivering premium derivatives trading and risk management
products for both retail and institutional traders. With a rich history of
crafting traditional finance and Web3 products, we are on a mission to bring
financial independence to the masses.
We welcome talented and passionate individuals who are ready to embrace the
complexities and challenges of fintech, DLT and Web3 technologies. As a
Project Manager, you will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure
that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You
will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization
and timeline.
Responsibilities
● Ability to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the
flawless execution of projects
● Ability to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and
within budget
● Ability to develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant
stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
● Ability to ensure resource availability and allocation
● Ability to develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Requirements
● Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information
technology sector
● Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in
software development and web technologies
● Excellent internal communication skills
● Experience of end-to-end project management tools: Trello, GitLab, Microsoft
Project, Kanban (asana, confluence), etc.
● Able to communicate between engineering and product / non-technical teams.
Pluses (Optional but preferred to have):
● PMP certified
● Entrepreneurial mindset or startup experience
● Experience working with fintech, DLT and/or other trading systems.
● Experience in blockchain ecosystems / infrastructure
● Advanced Degree in computer science, engineering, math/statistics, operations
research, physics or related fields
Compensation (including salary, bonus, and incentives/upside) is negotiable
based on your skills, education, experience, and performance, reflecting our
