DevOps Engineer, Block River Technologies
Taipei Taiwan, Remote/Hybrid, Open to Full-time/Part-time and Contractors

our team. As a significant contributor, you will play a key role in our web3
platform, delivering premium derivatives trading and risk management products
for both retail and institutional traders. With a strong track record in

technologies. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in

Responsibilities
● In-depth experience using Ansible (or similar tools) to environments with
hundreds of servers. Experience designing complex static and dynamic
inventories, variable structures, and playbooks.
● In-depth experience supporting Linux servers in large environments supporting
hundreds of servers, preferably in highly secure and highly available 24/7
environments.
● Experience with common system administration scripting languages such as bash
and Python.
● Deep understanding of networking and security best practices.
Requirements
● 3+ years of hands-on experience as DevOps or related roles
● Experience working in a distributed, remote team environment
● One of the system language: C++, Java, Go or Python
● Experience with large scale, multi-region service platforms
● Experience with Kubernetes and experience working with cloud infrastructure
● Experience building deployment pipelines with common CI/CD tools
● Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
● Security awareness and focus on incorporating secure design principles
Pluses (Optional but preferred to have):
● Entrepreneurial mindset or startup experience
● Experience working with fintech, DLT and/or other trading systems.
● Experience in Web3 security, including smart-contract audits, formal
verification, validator node management, wallet security, and key management.
● Advanced Degree in computer science, engineering, math/statistics, operations
research, physics or related fields
Compensation (including salary, bonus, and incentives/upside) is negotiable
based on your skills, education, experience, and performance, reflecting our
