Fred Hoiberg loves Jimmy Butler. It’s been evident ever since the Bulls’ new
head coach visited players during the summer and even more so throughout
training camp. Butler has been the most impressive player thus far and showed
that he can be the leader of this team in a 105-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks
in their first preseason action.

will begin to place himself amongst the LeBron James’ of the basketball world,
guys who can do anything and everything on the court.

Obviously Jimmy hasn’t reached either Garnett nor (especially not) Jordan’s
level of greatness but from a competitive, leadership level, Hoiberg may see
something special considering he has been around both legends before.

This is all encouraging news and it’s still too early to have any of these
talks right now, but it’s turning out to being a very exciting start to the
season. Let’s not forget, Jimmy was the 30th pick of his draft class. What a
story this has turned out to be.
