Woj: 'Strong belief' Jennings tore Achilles
There is a "strong belief" within the Pistons that Brandon Jennings tore his
left Achilles on Saturday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Sadly, all signs support this claim. Jennings was in agonizing pain at the
time of the injury and couldn't put any weight on his leg. Those who have
torn their Achilles before have mentioned it felt like being drilled with a
baseball in their lower leg, which seemed to be the case for Jennings. The
Pistons will conduct an MRI to confirm the damage, but fantasy owners in all
re-draft leagues should consider Jennings out for the season. D.J. Augustin
is expected to start and is worth owning in all standard leagues. Spencer
Dinwiddie will also get more run.
