Pocheon）舉行「勇士之盾」（Warrior Shield）聯合軍事演習。本次演習是美韓兩國五
年來最大規模的聯合野戰演習，旨在強化多領域的戰術運用。
大約800名美國士兵和400名韓國士兵進行了為期四天的訓練，該訓練於週四（23日）在抱
川市的羅德里格斯實彈射擊場（Rodriguez Live Fire Complex）結束，距離朝鮮半島的
非軍事區約16英里（約25.7公里）。

美軍第2步兵師負責機動的副指揮官陸軍上校布蘭登・安德森（Brandon Anderson）22日
說：「當（朝鮮）發射彈道導彈時，它為這次訓練提供了令人難以置信的關注。」
安德森補充說：「我們在衝突時期的部分目的是擊敗敵人，並確保大規模殺傷性武器免於
進一步擴散。」
