AMG大頭目Tobias Moers說AMG會推出全電動車系，時間最快也要2020年後。
他們今年底就會取得賓士電動車，然後他們會好好研究電動車的動力系統，
找出屬於AMG自己的特色配方。
另外AMG油電混合動力車的開發也在進行中。

「V12不死」
他同時也確認V12雙渦輪引擎會有下一代，給下一代S-Class使用。
下一代A45也在研發中，會導入全新引擎架構，在2020年前上市。
雖然BMW M2好評大熱銷，但Tobias Moers表示AMG不會推出類似Porsche Boxster
或BMW M2的同級車。
"There is no plan for 2020 to have an electrified car, but if you ask me
that question you will always get the answer that sooner or later there will
be a pure electric driven AMG, because that's going to happen," Moers says,
before explaining what challenges a battery powered AMG could face.
"We have to figure out what is the right kind, or the right way, the right
definition for us. We're going to have cars available at the end of the year
with electrified drivetrains for us to judge and to find our definition."
