1. at night
最常用，泛指「在夜間（相對於白天）」。
指一般的時間段，不關注夜裡的具體某一刻。
常用於描述習慣、重複性動作或一般情況。
例：
Owls hunt at night.
貓頭鷹在夜間捕食。
I usually read at night.
我通常在晚上閱讀。
2. in the night
用得少，帶有夜裡某個時刻的感覺，通常指夜間中途、半夜、睡夢中發生的事情。
常帶有戲劇性、突發性或故事感。
例：
I woke up several times in the night because of the storm.
因為暴風雨，我在夜裡醒了好幾次。
Strange noises were heard in the night.
夜裡聽到了奇怪的聲音。
簡單記法
at night → 夜間整體時間段（習慣、一般情況）
in the night → 夜裡的某一刻（事件、突發情況）
額外提示：
英國人可能在故事敘述時更愛用 in the night 來營造氛圍，而美式英文更多用 in the
middle of the night 來避免歧義。
