想請教下面句子中 but 的詞性
As part of the transaction, but not included in the written agreement,
the plaintiff gave the defendant $400 which was used to purchase and
install a new pump.
我的看法是，as是準關係代名詞，修飾後面整句"the plaintiff...pump."
然而but詞性是什麼呢?
是連接詞、副詞還是介係詞?

副詞，跟however相當。btw，這邊的as個人認為是介系詞，表「作為」。
