請問圖中畫紅線的那句，
By the time不是要和未來完成時並用嗎？
例如：
By the time Dad comes home, I will have finished my homework.
那圖片中畫紅線那句能不能寫成：
By the time the clock stops striking, they will have had 12 grapes in their mo
uths.

這應該是在敘述一段事實吧？ by the time跟when意思差不多請問一下這是出自哪裡的文章問了母語人士說那一句不對，it should be "will have".

我覺得就是像你所說的，那是一個常態，代表事實，所以應該使用簡單式。因為不是描述一件未來會發生什麼事。
