the car's 是 the car has嗎？
是的話前後時時態就有點怪怪的
因為是車子先壞 怎麼不是用had broken

"是 the car has嗎？" -> Yes."怎麼不是用had broken" -> 因為另一個可以用作時間先後判斷時間先後依據的動詞"I've had to"(have had to)是現在式(現在完成式仍是屬於現在式)。你說的"先壞"用"hadbroken"的情況是另一個後發生的動詞是過去式才行
