我知道整句意思是 to make an official complaint
但我想更清楚知道，lodge在這意思範圍內，還可以怎麼用？

假設語氣用到 were/had/should 可以做倒裝

但這樣意思上讓我也困惑。所以不倒裝句子是it would not ask Ko to join the party if he should win這樣句子該怎麼理解比較好？

should可以當什麼意思? 應該?一定?剛剛查了American Heritage其中這意思似乎滿適合的:to express conditionality or contingency: If sheshould fall, then so would I.

should有萬一的意思

should在假設語氣裡有發生機率低的意味(比were to較高)這裡不是指柯當選機率低啦 換另一位也會用should哈這方面假設語氣可以多看一下 美國人連講話都會用倒裝這不是文法書上給你寫文章考試用而已
