Putting the letter in perspective, Massimo Faggioli and Richard Gaillardetz
remind us that among 200 cardinals and 5,000 bishops, not one has signed. The
chief signatory was Bernard Fellay, who was "unlawfully ordained a prelate in
1988 and leads the schismatic Society of St. Pius X." So it's important to
put this into some perspective.
