非常令人遺憾的消息.
年輕時非常喜歡的電影 "甜過巧克力 ( Better Than Chocolate )",
兩位主角其中之一的 "Maggie" 演員 Karyn Dwyer,
在前幾天決定結束自己的生命旅程.

"Late last night my friend Tony Nappo reached out to let me know Karyn
Dwyer, our costar from Better Than Chocolate had decided to end her journey
here. I am saddened and heartbroken that there didn’t seem to be another
choice for her. I pray she’s now at peace and I find myself walking around
in circles, memories of the epic journey that film took us on and the years
afterward coming up in waves. We were friends for a time but as happens
distance and life choices created separation. But that time has left an
indelible mark on me.
We are asked so much as artists, we give so much so freely...every audition
, every day on set and mostly all the days in between those fortunate
moments. I remember at Ryerson being told how to walk, to talk, to sound...
how to BE. But there were no classes in how to cope. With the rejection.
The despair. Even the ramifications of success and what it brings. Defi-
-nitely no class in “How to Spot the Signs You’re in Deep, DEEP Trouble."
All this focus on getting the job and then when you do... ( or if you don't
) you’re just on your own. And the openness and vulnerability required to
be good at it...boggles my mind.
I’m sorry to ramble. My heart is heavy today.
I hope she’s somewhere great. Surrounded by light and love and laughter.
