Points Expiration Policy
In addition to pausing Points expiration until December 31, 2022, we are also
extending the amount of time required to keep your Hilton Honors account
active from 15 to 24 months. Members must keep their Hilton Honors account
active in order to keep their Hilton Honors Points. Under the new policy, if
your account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, your total Point balance
will expire.

如果 24 個月是正常水準，那應該就是「永久」直到真的有什麼意外才會再改。
Hilton says that this policy change is “permanent,” but who knows what that
really means. In the loyalty industry, something is permanent until it’s
not. I guess the point is that this isn’t just intended as a short-term
policy in light of the current situation. For that matter, a 24 month policy
isn’t unusually generous, so I expect the intention is to keep that policy
around.
