去年9月，根據《Deadline》報導，華納兄弟影業正在開發一部《康斯坦汀：驅魔神探》
的續集，並且基努李維（Keanu Reeves）將會回歸飾演康斯坦汀。
而在近日接受 Total Film 採訪時，基努李維也首度公開談及對系列新續作的看法：
"I don't know if it was unfinished business but it was definitely a role that
I loved. And I thought that Francis Lawrence, the director, did such amazing
work. I loved playing that character, and I really enjoyed the film. I was
like, 'Can I please have some more?'"
「我不知道該不該稱其為未竟之業，但這絕對是我超愛的一個角色。而我認為首部電影的
導演 Francis Lawrence，拍出了非常不得了的作品，我喜歡飾演康斯坦汀，也真的很享
受那部電影。我的態度一直都是『拜託了，可以給我更多嗎？』」
"I kept asking almost every year. I'd be like, 'Can I please?' [and] they'd be
like, 'No, no!'"
「我幾乎每年都會詢問（華納），我就像是『拜託，請讓我…』但他們給我的感覺就都是
『不，不行！』」
所以當華納終於給出正面答覆並同意放行新作時，李維和他的團隊很快就投入了這部電影
的開發。
"So it's exciting. It's almost like an open playground that we can hopefully
cook something up and play in, and I guess get out of the playground and
prepare a meal. But I'm looking forward to it, and hopefully it can happen.
You don't know how these things go. But I'm definitely going to try my
darndest to try and realize that dream."
「這很令人興奮，幾乎就像是有了一個能讓我們好好弄出些東西，並且玩得開心的開放式
遊樂場，當然我猜我們不能一直待在遊樂場，也得要準備些東西果腹才行。但我真的很期
待，也慶幸這一切真的發生了。你不知道它將會如何發展，但我肯定是會試著拿出自己最
出色的表現來實現這個夢想的。」
