後來自行詢問原廠，收到的回覆如下：
Thank you for your email and our apologies for the occurrence of the blue
material in the can of the rabbit and turkey pate. We did forward the
information we received from our broker to our co packer partner. There is
testing done on the cans off the line to check for anything potentially
harmful. It is our understanding that the meat does arrive at the plant
wrapped in a blue material that is non toxic and sometimes that material can
enter into the meat during mixing. It is not something that happens
frequently but can occur upon occasion. We apologize for this situation and
hope you were issued a refund for this case of food. Thank you for reaching
out.
原廠回覆藍色碎片是包裝肉的物質且無毒，並提到退款。
但我想沒有人會希望在食品中看到或吃到異物，
期望原廠和其他廠商能提供安全及健康的食品，避免發生這種情況。
也謝謝當初在原文下方留言的zxc6325551板友，
除了異物，我會留意變質的情況，也會參考國內提供主食的廠商。

: 「原廠已就此事件回覆，因目前罐頭食品皆於新工廠啟用後生產，品質皆有所提升，而您
: 所購買的罐頭為舊工廠所生產，後續應能避免此事故，造成困擾深感抱歉。
: 另外，公司欲免費提供一包DR.ELSEY'S飼料2LB給您的愛貓試吃，如您同意，也請您提供
: 收件資訊，我們將立即為您安排寄出

: 我回信詢問「藍色碎片」究竟為何?
: 即使原廠回覆我所購買的罐頭是在舊工廠生產 仍需解釋為何罐頭內會出現此藍色碎片
: 而且此藍色碎片有可能會影響我的貓咪的健康
: 加上原廠也回覆「後續應能避免此事故」，難道不用為「此事故」解釋或是負任何責任嗎
