英國空氣污染嚴重，每年奪走4萬條英國人性命，
為了改善空氣品質，英國政府規劃要在2040年禁售傳統汽/柴油車，
但這並不包括hybrid油電車、PHEV插電車等混合動力車款。
在英國政府的政策說帖裡，到了2040年hybrid油電車、PHEV等混合動力車款仍可繼續
銷售上路。

2017年英國的新車銷售中，hybrid車佔3%，純電動車佔1%。
預計到了2022年，純電動車市佔率將逐漸成長到佔新車銷售總量的10%。

未來英國將提高天然氣發電量，成為英國最大的發電來源，而核電的比例將大幅降低。

自從前幾天英國政府宣佈推動2040年禁售汽/柴油政策，引發很大的民意反彈，
有民調顯示超過一半的民眾都反對2040禁售政策。
我猜這是因為很多人還是對新能源環保車的便利性有很多疑慮，
英國保守黨必須要持續說服選民，不然日後可能會面臨選票壓力。
除了要研發能把充電時間縮短至10分鐘內的新科技，
英國保守黨政府也要砸大錢來更新國家電網等基礎設施，並提高全英國總發電量，
才能應付未來龐大的充電高峰需求，免於發生跳電危機。
努力向選民證明國家已經準備好了。
