這台B1是由Bollinger 這家位於紐約的新創公司推出的全電動SUT(sport utility truck)
這種方正銳利的造型很像吉普車或是Benz 的G 系列
後排座椅收納後有95CUFT(約2690升)的容積,前方則有14CUFT(約396升)
後方行李箱還有兩個110V插座

Bollinger unveils new minimalist and badass-looking all-electric truck
with up to 200 miles of range
Today, Bollinger Motors unveiled what it calls a “no nonsense
back-to-basics all-electric sport utility truck (SUT).”
The minimalist-looking vehicle with sharp edges and bare interior will
not be for everyone, but with a promised range of up to 200 miles and
quite a few interesting features, it could check all the boxes of a lot
of people looking to buy an EV that can go on and off road.
The New York-based startup brought the prototype to the Classic Car Club
of Manhattan. They released the entire spec list, which we added at the
end of this article, and revealed almost everything about the vehicle
except for the price.
Bollinger Motors’ founder and CEO, Robert Bollinger, commented on the
unveiling:
“We are so thrilled to be able to finally take the wraps off of our
Bollinger B1 SUT. This is the culmination of what has been a 40-year-long
boyhood dream of mine and I couldn’t be more pleased with the vehicle
and the incredible team who worked so hard to create it.”
We had already a pretty good idea of the design, which features a
lightweight aluminum architecture and minimalist body, through several
teasers released over the past few months but we now get our first
complete good look at the vehicle:
Bollinger makes a big deal of the cargo capacity of the B1 and rightfully
so. The rear seats are removable and when out of the way, it has 95 cu-ft
of cargo space. It also has 14 cu-ft of front trunk capacity.
For example, they say that they can fit 24 2x4s or 72 4×8 drywall sheets.
Therefore, the vehicle could prove an interesting option for handymen and
people looking to work out of their vehicle – especially when
complemented with “twin 110-volt power outlets which allow occupants the
ability to hook up their electronic devices, camping equipment, power
tools or whatever the adventure calls for.”
Its powertrain, which is a dual motor all-wheel-drive system, also
supports significant towing and load capacity. The company describes:
“While the Bollinger B1 sports serious off-roading credentials, the
vehicle also has impressive performance statistics generating 360
horsepower and a massive 472 lb-ft of torque. And with the instant torque
provided courtesy of the electric drivetrain, the B1 has a noteworthy
0-60 time of just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 127 miles per hour. The
B1 weighs in at just 3,900 lbs giving it a 10.8 power to weight ratio.
With a payload capacity of 6,100 lbs, the gross vehicle weight rating
(GVWR) checks in at just over 10,001 lbs.”
Two battery pack options will be made available, 60 kWh and 100 kWh, for
120 miles and 200 miles in range.
Of course, the range will be reduced depending on the load, but it should
be more than enough for most drivers.
John Hutchison, Bollinger Motors engineer, commented:
“At either a 120 or 200 mile estimated range, the Bollinger B1 will have
more range than most electric vehicles on the road today. The average US
driver travels less than 36 miles per day, so the B1 has plenty of charge
for anything you throw at it. I think we found the right combination of
utility, off-road capability and range options.”
As for charging the battery, the B1 has a standard J1772 universal
connector for level 1 110V and level 2 220V charging. Additionally, it
also features a CHAdeMO charge port on the vehicle’s fender for DC
fast-charging.
Now if you think the exterior is minimalist, wait until you see the
interior of the truck:
The old-school instrument cluser will also feature the battery indicator:
“A mechanical speedometer is employed with an odometer inset; a battery
level indicator; turn signals; and there’s also a unique mechanical
tachometer which displays the average of the two motor’s revolutions per
minute. All of the gauges have chrome bezels, black backgrounds and white
numbering and lettering giving the IP a clean and classic look.”
Despite its classic look, it also features almost all the common
electronics found in modern vehicles today, like AM/FM Radio, AUX Input
for iPod/MP3 Players and SD/USB Flash Readers.
As for when you can actually get the car and at what price, Bollinger
says that it will have to wait until later this year:
“While we’ll be announcing pricing and manufacturing targets later this
year, the business case for the B1 makes sense at a very realistic and
modest production number and at a price point of a nicely equipped sport
utility vehicle. When you factor in this vehicle’s superiority over the
other choices on today’s market, we think we have a winning combination.

The company says that it is currently working with third-party
manufacturers and it aims to get to production within 19 months. They
will also start taking reservation next year.

這設計滿怪的,越野卡車因為需要長時間在荒野,很難有地方可以充電,也通常可以自己載運燃料延長續航,電動的話不知道優勢在哪裡....
