這集的劇情是原作中第8冊第6話至第9冊第1話，依序是「赤龍玉的傳說」、「巧遇海星男
」、「天野三郎的妖術」、「變身大決戰」、「火之玉的力量」五話，而「九州的溫泉」
，原本的老闆則是提前在第五集登場。在獲得金玉後，前往九州，繼續尋找第三顆珠子，
對決天草四郎（動畫直接用天草四郎時貞）。

印象中漫畫後期的鐵劍單純劍術不靠怪力亂神的話，還是（年輕）武藏小次郎十兵衛他們比較強

不過小次郎明顯輸給鬼丸，鐵刃跟在柯南中劍術與平次在伯仲之間的沖田對打也比十兵衛時更吃力，如果沖田沒棄權他也贏不了
