因為我真的很喜歡這首歌，遂試著自己翻譯了一遍：

because she left his side.

本是我國人民眼中的驕傲，
How could she go astray?
她怎會偏向歧路行？
When she did flee across the ocean deep,
當她出逃橫越萬里汪洋，
the admiral followed west.
上將隨之西尋。
What else but sail
沒有什麼事更甚於，
to save a daughter's life,
啟航拯救女兒的命，
and pray she still drew breath?
祈禱一切還來得及。
But there he found
但在遙遠彼岸，
upon those distant shores,
他發現的卻是，
Enemies 'on the rise!
敵人扎根茁壯。
But when he faced those savage foes
他挺身相抗野蠻仇敵，
His daughter stood aside.
自己女兒竟束手旁觀。
And Buried deep beneath the waves,
身死波濤裡，
Betrayed by family.
被家人背棄。
To his nation, with his last breath, cried,
他用最後一口氣向人民高喊，
"Beware the Daughter of the Sea."
當心那海上之女。

傳來熟悉的的嗓音。

當心，當心那海上之女，

當心，要當心……自己。

「Beware the Daughter of the Sea」
在珍娜聽來該是多麼一句令她沉痛的話。
當年她和索爾攜手擊退父親所率的庫爾提拉斯海軍，卻讓父親在過程中意外身亡。
就算實際動手的不是她，恐怕在她心裡仍會覺得自己正是害死父親的殺人兇手吧。
後來塞拉摩被秘法炸彈轟炸，好友羅甯為救自己慘死，
如今回到庫爾提拉斯，又感受到過去的子民「當心海上之女。」
她過去不惜背叛家人，站在父親的對立面，
除了害死自己的爸爸，失去人民的信任，以及後續的塞拉摩慘劇外，她得到了什麼？
她在影片後段說的「I'm listening now...father.」，
私以為意思是「當年你向我告誡部落，現在我終於聽進去聽明白了。」
但就算她已經「幡然醒悟」，卻也無法傳達給父親知道。
最悲哀的是，自己的父親至死都抱持著「Beware the daughter of sea」的想法，
而這個「海上之女」，不是別人，正是「of me」，正是自己。
