我現在在申請OPT STEM extension 出了點問題. 因為9月底打算回台灣結婚.
想請問版友有沒有碰過這種情況和應該怎麼辦.
我於6/15號 (opt到期90天前)將我的申請送到USCIS,
並且於6月底收到receipt 和 case number.
可是7/4號我收到目前工作學校的international office 寫信給我,
跟我說 i765 form 上的是 E-verify number, 而不是 EIN number.
office 的人要我回去問原來學校應該要怎麼做.
原來學校的人說
Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it at this point. If USCIS really wants to
know E-verify number, they will send you a request for evidence
(RFE) or find it themselves. Most likely your application will be processed
normally.
於是我轉寄了同樣的話給工作學校的international office,
但她卻說如果他們這麼說那你可以等等看, 但她覺得應該會被reject 或 RFE.
我現在去看我的STATUS 仍是
On June 16, 2017, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment
Authorization , Receipt Number xxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice
that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions
in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by July 16, 2017,
please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to
www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
因為要回去結婚, 酒席那些都訂好了. 我希望我的申請不要被拖延到.
這陣子被這件事像大石壓在心上. 請問版友們有任何建議嗎? 真的很感謝.
