1. ESA（Entertainment Software Association）是什麼組織？
簡單來說，就是美國電子遊戲產業最重要的協會。
如果要舉個什麼具體的重要性，大概就今年 6 月 16 日的 E3 展，是 ESA 舉辦的。
2. 也因為這樣，ESA 的報告都是基於美國境內而非全球市場。
3. 線上銷售管道（Steam、Origin 之類的）也都有包含在內。
4. 包含 2014 年之前發行的遊戲。
5. 雖然是理所當然，還是提醒一下：
2015 年之後才發行的（例如模４的付費內容）不會列在名單上。
感想：我一直以為模擬市民的資料片是小眾市場，但沒想到銷量竟然有那麼大。
