Tiafoe 表示過去兩個月都在佛羅里達訓練、且一週前檢驗過為陰性。

All-American Team Cup 除了 Tiafoe，參賽球員還有
John Isner、Sam Querrey、Tennys Sandgren、Taylor Fritz、Steve Johnson、
Tommy Paul、Reilly Opelka；Tiafoe 週五剛出賽、以兩盤比數擊敗 Sam Querrey。
Tiafoe 已退出 All-American Team Cup，賽會宣布由 Christopher Eubanks 替補。
