PEC=Prometheus English Club
是由Robert在台中創立的付費英語俱樂部，為多益700以上想要全英文環境的朋友而設計

這次PEC TALKS講者是來自美國猶他州的Mathieu Volk，目前是Berhan Language
Institute的老師。Mathieu在Utah State University取得B.A. Communication Studies
，並曾在Utah State University Writing Center擔任English/Writing Tutor及
Assistant Instructor，他的專長就是溝通技巧，口語表達及problem-solving Skills。

這次Mathieu要講的主題是"How to Use Fear to Get Your Way." Mathieu說“My talk
will be about how to scare others into doing what you want them to do”
Mathieu將會以他的專長轉化為實用溝通技巧，大家絕對能收穫良多!以下是Mathieu寫的

"Your heart beats faster. Your hands begin to shake. You are afraid and you
don’t know why. Fear is powerful! It is a weapon, it is a tool. But do you
know how to use it? Do you know how it uses you? Mathieu Volk explains how
fear works in the art of persuasion. You will learn how to scare people
effectively and use fear to get what you want. More importantly, you will
learn how others use fear against you and how to stop it or, at least, to
understand it."

1. 講座全程英文: Robert/Mathieu及與會者都要使用全英文交談及發表意見。過程中每
個人都會大量發言。
2.名額稀有: 因為參與講座的朋友會和PEC的正規會員一起聽PEC TALK，所以我們每一場
能收的朋友只有一到兩個，請及早報名。該聚會是PEC的Olympian (多益900以上)，所以
多益
800以上的朋友比較適合參加。
