The school is considering cancelling the paper version of school news and
only sending online version.Please give at least one advantageand one
disadvantage of this policy.
Use reasons and examples in your response.
學校正考慮取消紙本的校園新聞，改為只傳線上版本。.
請談談至少一個該政策的優點和缺點。
請用細節與例子來解釋你的想法。
解題思路：
優點: 最大的優點就是學校可以省錢。
The biggest advantage is that the school can save a lot of money.
缺點一: 然而，雖然所有學生都可以讀線上新聞，但是有些人會忘記檢查信箱，
時不時就錯過學校的重要新聞。
However, although all students can read the news online, some people
just forget to check their mailboxes and miss important school news
every now and then.
缺點二: 而且，如果這些人在家把線上新聞印出來做為提醒，這也沒有比較環保。
Also, if they still print the news out at home as a reminder,
it isn’t greener.
高分範例：
我認為取消學校新聞的紙本並改為線上版有其優缺點。最大的優點就是學校可以省錢。
當牽涉到能源和紙漿的印刷成本逐漸上漲的時候，電子版就會是省錢的選項。
然而，雖然所有學生都可以讀線上新聞，但是有些人會忘記檢查信箱，時不時就錯過學校
的重要新聞。而且，如果這些人在家把線上新聞印出來做為提醒，這也沒有比較環保。
因此，這個政策有其優點和缺點。

Some professors prefer to answer students’ questions in the end of
the lecture, and others stop at points to answer students’ questions.
Which style do you think is better for learning?
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
有些教授偏好在每堂課的尾聲回答學生問題；另外一些教授上課時則時不時
會停下來回答學生的問題。你認為哪種風格對學習比較好？
請使用確切的理由與例子來支持你的答案。
解題思路：
選擇: 就我個人而言，我認為學生可以學習得更好，當教授偶爾停下來回答學生的問題。
In my opinion, I think students can learn better when professors stop at
points to answer students’ questions.
理由一: 一個理由是任何疑惑或問題都能被立刻解決。
One reason is that any doubts and problems can be solved immediately.
理由二: 此外，問答促進討論，讓教室內氣氛更活潑。
Also, questions and answers facilitate discussion, encouraging in-class
participation and bringing life to the classroom.
高分範例：
就我個人而言，我認為學生可以學習得更好，當教授偶爾停下來回答學生的問題。
一個理由是任何疑惑或問題都能被立刻解決。
舉例來說，如果教授只讓學生在課程最後問問題，有些基本概念沒被釐清，
有些學生可能會整堂課都很困惑。此外，問答促進討論，讓教室內氣氛更活潑。
基於以上理由，我個人讓學生在課程進行中發問很有幫助。
