is.gd/5tYFhn
This week we gonna talk over what happened in HK, and how would they
influence us?
Q1. How much do you know about what happened in HK and why so? Are you pro or
against them?
Q2. The news says the election suggested that the public continues to back
the democracy movement, even as the protests have grown increasingly
violent.
how do "you" interpret the election results, and what's the next step you'll
take if you were the following roles: a peaceful citizen, a protester,
pro-democracy party politician, pro-Beijing party politician, Xi, Trump,
Tsai, Han and Soong.
Q3. How do you see what happened in HK will influence its neighbor districts
or countries? Try to imagine if you are leading one of the neighbors, what
would you like to see it end in HK?

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”
https://cn.nytimes.com/education/20190417/stop-asking-kids-what-they-want-to-be-when-they-grow-up/zh-hant/dual/
Q1: Have your parents or adults around you ever asked you this or similar
questions when you were little?
If yes, what have you answered? And what's the ir reactions followed by
your answers?
If not, what do you think they haven't done so as most people usually
have done?
Q2: The reporter criticized this question for not helpging but misleading
kids 'cause
1) It forces kids to define themselves in terms of work.
2) Searching for the answer could makes kids feel lost and confused.
3) Careers rarely live up to your childhood dreams.
Do you agree or not with the comments and why?
Q3: It mentions a equation: happiness is reality minus expectations. We're
better off going in with a realistic preview of what works really like, warts
and all, and lowering expectations to erase the gap between what we wanted
and what we got. Do you agree or not with the comments and why?
Q4: Do you find differences betweens these 2 questions? Which questions you
might use for your kids in the future?
1) “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
2) "What kind of person you want to be when you grow up?"
