Cyberpunk 2077 Keanu Romance Option Doesn’t Exist, Unfortunately

If you’re a big Keanu Reeves fan whose like for him goes beyond his skills
as an actor, you’re in for a disappointment with Cyberpunk 2077. Level
designer Max Pears has given the internet confirmation that there is no
Cyberpunk 2077 Keanu romance option, leaving many players without a
much-anticipated portion of the game.
Much like CD Projekt RED’s previous project, the Witcher games, Cyberpunk
2077 will give players the ability to have sex at various points throughout
the game. Unfortunately, no romance option means that you can’t fulfill your
fantasy of banging Keanu Reeves.
Pears didn’t give a reason for why the game wouldn’t allow you to bang
Keanu Reeves, but considering the possibility that he’s a hallucination (or
at least something brought on by some of your character’s cybernetic
enhancements), that would at least justify it.
After all, while Keanu Reeve’s character Johnny Silverhand does play a
significant role in the game, he still has to be a physical presence in order
for the Cyberpunk 2077 main character to be able to pursue a Cyberpunk 2077
Keanu romance option.
There likely won’t be any other sort of obstacle to who you can romance
though. Since the genre of cyberpunk isn’t just about cool technology but
also transhumanism, it’s likely that you’ll be able to pursue a romance
with anybody you want in the game.
While the fact that we can’t romance Keanu Reeves is somewhat of a bummer
for any Cyberpunk 2077 fan, this is likely only one of the many different
things we’ll be learning about the game over the next few months until April
of 2020.
While a Cyberpunk 2077 Keanu romance option isn’t in the cards for Cyberpunk
2077 players, you’ll be able to experience everything else that the game has
planned for you both when Cyberpunk 2077 releases on April 16 of 2020 for the
Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
