Maintaining server and database, build/refine website and develop
new features
Data will be sent from an external device (developed by a 3rd-party)
to our servers for storage and processing.

Company is in New York, USA, but engineer will be working remotely from
Taiwan (time of day negotiable). Documents and project management
software will be used for communicating requirements. Skype conference
calls required on a daily basis.
LocalCache is a service system startup company located in New York
City. We are looking for a full-time Ruby/ROR developer who can
help us maintain our system/develop new features. However, we are
also open to someone taking this on part-time if s/he can dedicate
at least 20 hours each week. Please send us any work experience,
including but not limit to, projects, cases and work experience.
We pay competitive rates, which commensurate with experience.
Required Skills:
2+ years of Ruby on Rails experience (3.2+)
Database - SQL, MySQL
Experience building API Services
Ability to write basic documentation, comments in English
Bonus Skills:
Front-end development experience using AJAX/Javascript/ HTML
/CSS would be a plus
Responsibilities:

service, refining the website and building new features.
