Times change and rules change. Not all that long ago, children rode in the
cargo area of station wagons without a care. It just didn't occur to their
parents that there was any danger in it. And yet today, the thought of such a
thing would be horrifying to a new parent who was schooled in using car seats
and other safety measures. But just because someone is unaware of something
that is second nature to you does not mean they can't be educated. If you run
into a situation where someone doesn't know as much as you, don't judge,
educate instead.
