It’s no secret that the Phoenix Suns are in need of a point guard, so you
would think they would be zeroing in on D’Angelo Russell, who is set to be a
restricted free agent this summer.
Not so fast.

According to Zach Lowe of ESPN, the Suns are actually focusing on veteran
floor general Ricky Rubio. Lowe adds that Phoenix will look at Russell, who’
s close with Devin Booker, but Rubio seems to be the main target. The Suns
currently only have about $14 million in cap room, making Rubio a more
feasible target.

percent from 3-point range and 85.5 percent from the free-throw line.

triples and 83.8 percent of his free throws.
