1. 離職的原因是個人因素 (personal reason) 並立即(immediently)生效
個人因素是最廣泛的離職原因
但立即生效就較不尋常 像Jim Keller這種已經是資深副總(senior VP)的職位
通常離職都會有緩衝期
可能是(1)任務完成 (2)處得不愉快 (3)家中有急事
2. 接下來的六個月會擔任顧問職並協助交接
若是家中有急事 應該不會在公司擔任顧問
要嘛請長假 若是很危急也沒心力擔任顧問
3. 文中沒有任何提到Jim Keller特定的貢獻

AMD的發言人有很明確地指出Jim Keller做了哪些貢獻:

Attempting to allay any fears over the impact of Keller's departure, the
company adds that "Jim helped establish a strong leadership team that is well
positioned for success as we enter the completion phase of the “Zen” core
and associated system IP and SoCs."
"Jim’s departure is not expected to impact our public product or technology
roadmaps, and we remain on track for “Zen” sampling in 2016 with first full
year of revenue in 2017."
AMD有說Jim Keller帶領的團隊已接近完成Zen 並指出Zen的時程依然照舊
但這次Intel新聞稿沒有提Jim Keller做了甚麼實質貢獻
所以指向是處得不愉快而離開
有許多人指出Intel內部本身大玩政治 文化不改從外引入大神也難做事
