微軟 Windows Server 2019 將在下半年正式問世

針對已經有第 3 年沒有推出新版本的微軟伺服器作業系統 Windows Server
2016，微軟在 21 日正式公布了新一代伺服器作業系統 Windows Server
2019 的上市計畫，預計將在 2018 年下半年正式發表，目前已經開始透過
內建管道進行內部測試當中。
微軟指出，Windows Server 2019 是架構於現有的 Windows Server 2016
所開發而來。而且，因為 Windows Server 2016 是迄今為止普及速度最快
的伺服器作業系統，因此未來 Windows Server 2019 仍將會延續 Windows
Server 2016 的相關優點。
據了解，Windows Server 2016 和桌上型電腦使用的 Windows 10 同源。而
Windows 10 是在 2016 年的 10 月份才正式發表，距今不到一年半時間。
因此，有專家預估，Windows Server 2019 就像是之前的多個 R2 版本一
樣，屬於一次反覆運算的升級版，內核並不會有太大變化。
另外，微軟針對新的 Windows Server 2019 伺服器作業系統也列出了計劃
在其中所推出的一些新功能。其中，包括 Windows Defender 的威脅防護服
務將如同 Windows 7 和 8.1 一樣的被導入 Windows Server 2019 之中；
而 Windows Linux 子系統將像 Windows 10 一樣，可以內建在 Windows
Server 2019 當中，而且 Linux 容器將可在 Windows Server 2019 上執
行。此外，Windows Server 2019 基本通訊埠配置 (Port mapping) 的大小
將進一步縮減。還有，Windows Server 2019 主機的 Kubernetes 管理等。
至於，功能預覽的微軟 Windows Server 圖形管理工具 -Honolulu 將針對
普通用戶發表，並且可以在 Windows Server 2019 當中管理新的混合雲的
環境。微軟表示，Windows Server 2019 在年底發表之前，預計還將發表更
多關於這些功能及其他未來功能的資訊。
