(2) @BryanHoch: Josh Donaldson, on the 60-day IL with a calf injury, looked
fluid taking batting practice and fielding grounders. He is hoping to return
this season.
(3) @BryanHoch: Domingo Germán had discomfort in his armpit yesterday and was
unable to play catch. Aaron Boone said that Germán will see a doctor in about
an hour. “We don’t think it’s an IL situation.”
(4) @BryanHoch: Boone on the plan for Aaron Judge: “Hopefully he can play this
entire series, but we’re going to take it day by day.”
“We’re going nowhere if we run Aaron Judge into the ground because he hasn’t
had a rehab game.”
(5) @BryanHoch: Aaron Boone was asked if Luis Severino will make his next turn
in the rotation. Boone said “all options are on the table.” So maybe, maybe
not.

came against the worst teams in MLB (A’s and Royals). They’ve lost 14 of 21
against other teams in that span.
