With a new drug policy expected to be approved Friday, ESPN.com reports good
news for Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon.
Gordon, who is currently serving a season-long suspension for failing a drug
test, is expected to have his suspension reduced to eight games, according to
the report. Assuming that includes time served for having sat out the team's
first game, Gordon could be eligible to get back on the field in time for
Week 10 against the Bengals.
Gordon was arguably the top receiver in the league a year ago, as he racked
up 87 catches for 1, 646 yards and nine touchdowns in just 14 games.
