Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon has sustained a Grade 2 right hamstring
strain and will be re-evaluated in 4-to-6 weeks, sources tell ESPN.
The injury marks the second Denver starter now sidelined for an extended
period of time along with Christian Braun. Gordon is averaging a career high
in points (18.8) and 3-point percentage (44.4%) as 1 of 7 players to average
15 points on 50-40-85 shooting, per ESPN Research.
Gordon entered Friday's game managing bilateral hamstring issues, and during
last season's Western Conference semifinals, he played through a Grade 2 left
hamstring strain in Game 7 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Now he will
miss 4 to 6 weeks and potentially more.
Gordon
