“That is tremendous accomplishment for a rookie to come in, have that spotlig
ht on him like that and to get slighted on rookie of the years, I ain't like t

I knew it was gonna be tough because right away you seen the physicality on th
e offensive end. Typically young guys come in and they try to ease, this mothe
rfucker was like a bruising. You had to withstand that for 40 minutes of hell.
I admired that young core coming in and being who they were at that time beca
use you talk about Kobe, AI, myself and Vince, like now we got some young ener
gy coming in this motherfucker that's confident, aggressive and got game.”

般新人進聯盟都會先試著適應、慢慢來，但這傢伙根本就是用撞的。他會讓你整場比賽都
像在地獄裡拼40分鐘。我很佩服那批年輕球員，進來聯盟就做自己，毫不怯場。你想想那
時候聯盟裡有Kobe、AI、我自己（T-Mac）還有Vince（Carter），然後現在突然來了一群
年輕人，有自信、有侵略性，而且真的有實力。」
