Dallas Mavericks remain interested in Danny Green
Townsend notes that a source says the Mavs remain interested in Danny Green. He links the Mavericks 2020 second-round pick as the possible compensation in the potential deal.
The trade 100 percent makes sense for Dallas. I wrote about why the Mavshould acquire Danny Green this offseason here. He has championship experience and gives Dallas a defensive upgrade that provides floor spacing. The 35-year-old is the perfect fit next to Luka Doncic. Green has one year left on his contract, which keeps the Mavs options open in the 2021 offseason.
