Referees miss obvious traveling call after Lakers’ LeBron James takes a
stroll with the ball

For years, critical NBA fans have derided the fact that Los Angeles Lakers
star LeBron James is the beneficiary of calls that would not normally go the
way of others. Irrespective of which side of the fence you fall on in that
debate, there was a play from the first half of Wednesday’s game versus the
Utah Jazz which should be able to unit us all in yelling, “Travel!”

James was somehow not whistled for any kind of violation on the above play,
despite all the protesting possible from Utah Jazz forward Bojan Bogdanovic,
who had to maintain a semblance of defensive intensity in the face of what he
witnessed.

Even for those decreeing, “Two steps!”, it’s worth noting that James takes
the entirety of his hand and holds it underneath the ball before returning it
to the floor.

Funny for Lakers fans, but maybe not so much for those cheering on the Jazz.
