Ky Bowman saw how his life and career suffered a major change when Stephen
Curry broke his left hand. Last Wednesday he spent the morning in Santa Cruz
at training camp for the Warriors’ G League affiliate.
在Stephen Curry左手骨折後，勇士後衛Ky Bowman看著他的生活以及事業開始有了重大的
變化，上禮拜三早上他還在勇士的發展聯盟訓練營訓練呢。
Little he knew later that night Stephen Curry’s broken left hand would take
him into Golden State’s rotation. Now he’s the starting point guard of the
Warriors, but given his status in the league, he doesn’t make much money,
considering the standards in the current NBA.
在Stephen Curry手骨折的那天晚上，Bowman被通知他會進勇士的球員名單，現在他是勇士

It’s well known that San Francisco is a very expensive city to live and the
$79,568 Bowman will make this year won’t help him to accommodate in that
side of the bay. With that salary, Ky would qualify for below-market right
housing in San Francisco.
大家都知道舊金山的生活費很高，Bowman今年只能賺79568鎂，大概沒辦法在舊金山找到房
子住，而那樣子的薪水讓Bowman的身分符合可以租低於市場價格的房子。
A now-deleted post on Reddit explained how the point guard’s salary wouldn’
t even be considered enough to afford normal housing.
原本一篇在Reddit上的文章(後來刪掉)解釋了為何這控衛的薪水沒辦法在舊金山租到一般
的房子：
"Ky Bowman is on a 2-way contract with the Warriors.
His salary this year is $79,568.
Based on salary alone assuming a 1 person household, he would qualify for
below market rate housing in San Francisco."
「Ky Bowman是勇士的雙向合約球員。」
「今年的薪水是79568鎂。」
「所以假設一個家庭只有一個人的薪水是這樣的金額的話，他是符合舊金山低於市場租屋
價的身分的。」
The housing market in SF is absolutely crazy and this is yet another proof of
that. Maybe things will be easier for Bowman if he played in a smaller
market, but that’s just the way things are.

多，但是人生就是如此囉。
