Lakers’ LeBron James will be ‘a primary ball handler,’ not point guard

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel clarified that LeBron James will
not be the starting point guard in the upcoming season, but he confirmed that
the four-time Most Valuable Player will have the ball most of the time.
湖人總教練Frank Vogel說，LBJ在下一季不會是先發控衛，但是他證實這4屆MVP的LBJ會是
主要的持球者。
There were reports that James will start as point guard for the retooled
Lakers squad. However, Vogel said in an interview with Chris Mannix of Sports
Illustrated that he is not sure where the report came from. He clarified that
James will just be a primary ball handler, not the starting point guard.
有些報導說，為了調整湖人的陣容，LBJ有可能下季會以先發控衛上場。不過，在與SI的記
者Chris Mannix的訪問中，Vogel提到說，他不知道那些報導是從哪裡得來的消息，他澄清
了一下，說LBJ會是主要的持球者，但他不會是先發控衛。
“I’ve not made any decisions on starting lineups or exact roles or anything
like that as was reported,” Vogel said. “That stuff will all play itself
out. I just know that LeBron has been at his best with the ball in his hands
and we’re going to make sure that that environment that he’s had the most
success in his career is present here with this version of the Lakers.”

The first-year Lakers coach added that he will not make James to do “
anything that he has not done his whole career” in the league. As for the
starting lineup and exact roles of other players, Vogel insisted that he has
not made any decision.
