The Philadelphia 76ers have gone through drastic roster transformation over
the past two seasons, so much that there are only two players left from their
2017-18 season roster. According to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia
Inquirer, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are the only remnants of the Sixers’
2017-18 team. The 2017-18 76ers squad actually fared well, as they finished
with a 52-30 record and reached the second round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs.

The following season, the Sixers made a huge gamble on Jimmy Butler, who was
then a disgruntled star in Minnesota. Philadelphia sent Jerryd Bayless,
Robert Covington, and Dario Saric to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Jimmy
Butler and Justin Patton.

committed to the Indiana Pacers.

free-agent power forward Al Horford
