Warriors’ Stephen Curry explains why he let DeMarcus Cousins get introduced
last in his first home game

In DeMarcus Cousins’ first home game with the Golden State Warriors, he was
introduced last in the starting lineups. That’s usually reserved for star
point guard Stephen Curry, but the two-time MVP wanted Cousins to have it.

Cousins, of course, missed the first 45 games of the regular season
recovering from the Achilles tear he suffered in 2017-18 with the New Orleans
Pelicans.

Curry and the rest of Boogie’s teammates saw how much work Cousins had to
put in to get back on the court, so the sharpshooter wanted Cousins to have
that moment at Oracle Arena with the fans.
