Report: NBA owners to pass rule allowing ads on jerseys
NBA owners are expected to pass a rule allowing advertisements on jerseys,
reports ESPN.
根據ESPN的報導，NBA當局期望可以通過在球衣上貼廣告的規定。
The owners are scheduled to vote on the new rule this week. The
advertisements would be a 2.5-by-2.5-inch patch on the left shoulder.
NBA會預計會在這個星期針對這個規定進行投票。廣告的大小會是2.5吋乘2.5吋的補丁，
位置則是在球衣的左肩。
The uniforms at this year’s All-Star Game featured a small Kia logo on the
left shoulder. WNBA and NBA D-League jerseys already feature advertisements,
though they are much more noticeable.
在本季的全明星賽，就已經有在球衣左肩上貼上一個小小的Kia Logo。WNBA和NBDL則早就
有在球衣上貼廣告了，而且相當明顯。
The initial proposal was for teams to keep 50 percent of the sponsorship
money from the jersey advertisements, while the other 50 percent would be
added to the revenue-sharing pool for all teams.
最初的提案是讓貼廣告的收益中的50%讓各隊自行保留，另外的50%則是加到所有隊伍的收
益共享區。
In March 2014, NBA commissioner Adam Silver said it was “inevitable” that
NBA jerseys will have advertisements in the future. The nine-year, $24
billion television deal the league signed in October 2014 included provisions
for adding sponsors to jerseys.
在2014年時，NBA總裁Silver就曾說過在球衣上貼廣告這件事在未來是「必然的」。這也包
含在2014年10月時簽署的為期九年，價值240億美元的NBA電視轉播合約之中。
