LeBron James planned to make a brief appearance at USA Basketball’s minicamp
this week and then leave early.
LBJ計畫這周會在minicamp短暫的露面一下，然後早早離開。
As of yesterday, that hadn’t happened. But USA Basketball counted on him to
attending, and there’s no good reason to change that expectation.
但昨天這件事並沒有發生，對於出席美國隊有算他一份而且顯然這種期待並不會改變。
In fact, LeBron might be even more involved than it seemed.
事實上，LBJ可能不只出席露臉而已。
Chris Haynes of Cleveland.com:
"Cleveland Cavaliers’ forward LeBron James is reconsidering his initial plan
of sitting out Team USA’s minicamp in Las Vegas this week, league sources
informed Northeast Ohio Media Group."
「消息來源說，儘管應該不會下場練習，但這周LBJ會坐在場邊當觀眾」
According to sources, James may partake in parts of Wednesday’s morning
non-contact session LeBron watching practice would be ceremonial. He just
neededto appear in Las Vegas to meet USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo’s attendance
requirement.
LBJ也可能會出席星期三早上的會議，而若能在場邊觀摩練習就很有禮貌了。事實上他只
要在拉斯維加斯跟美國籃協主席會面一下就夠了。
Participating in the practice would be ceremonial, too. Neither LeBron nor
Team USA needs him on the court today to prepare for Rio.
當然，若能下場參加練習也很符合禮節，但老實說，不管LBJ或是美國隊其實都不用他今
天出現在球場上。
But this is part of the reason Colangelo has so much faith in LeBron. The
Cavaliers star has repeatedly shown his commitment to the American program,
and getting on the court – even if just to work up a light sweat – only
affirms that pledge.
美國籃球主席對他進入美國隊很有信心，他不只一次表示承諾會加入美國隊，也會出現
在練習場上。就算只在場上流一點點汗，對美國籃協來說也會是種信物。
